<p>Channel Trailers are one of the best ways for a Publisher to advertise their channel on Recast and they can now upload a trailer of up to 5 minutes long.&nbsp; Fans will be able to watch Channel Trailers for free (and even before they sign up) to give them a taste of what they can watch on that Channel, whether it’s a new docu-series, live event or a trailer about the channel itself!&nbsp;</p>

<p>Publishers now have the ability to ‘Cash Out’ their earnings every 30 days, making it easier to get access to the money they’ve generated from their videos.</p>

<p>There’s also an easier way to request a ‘Cash Out’ of channel balances. Publishers will now be able to click a button within their Recast Publish wallet to withdraw their balance and keep track of their ‘Cash Out’ transaction history.</p>

<p>Thursday 30th March will see the start of a bumper weekend of youth football kick off on Recast with more than 480 up-coming football stars, from 12 different countries taking part in 4 global competitions.</p>
<p>The four competitions, running up until Monday 3rd April, will see UK &amp; Northern Ireland competition The hummel Centenary Shield, Dubai based Mina Cup 2023, the Primavera Championship, where Inter Milan Under 19s take on Sassuolo, and the Italian U17 Championship, all broadcast live and exclusively on Recast.</p>
<p>Unlike other platforms, the revenue made from fans watching the matches on Recast will generate much needed income for each youth football tournament, with 85% of the revenue from each match going straight back into the sport.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Luke Hampton, England U18 Schoolboy&#8217;s Team Manager, said:</strong></p>
<blockquote><p>I am delighted to see our games broadcast on Recast this year. It is great exposure for the players and an opportunity for them to showcase their talents to the wider football community. It also helps raise the profile and prestige of the Centenary Shield, an historic and prestigious home nations competition. It is also great to see more coverage of schools&#8217; football and shows a real investment back in the game at this level.</p></blockquote>
<p>The action kicks off on Thursday 30th March when Northern Ireland take on their rivals Republic of Ireland in an eagerly anticipated clash in The hummel Centenary Shield. On Friday all eyes turn to Glasgow as Scotland take on England in the second Centenary Shield match of the week.</p>
<p>At noon (GMT) on Saturday Inter Milan Under 19s take on Sassuolo in round 25 of the Primavera Championship and at 9am (GMT) on Sunday Inter Milan U17s take on Cagliari in round 24 of the Italian U17 Championship. Rounding off the weekend of youth football competitions, Recast fans will be able to tune into the Dubai based Mina Cup 2023 tournament which kicks off on Saturday afternoon. Running right up until Monday afternoon the top youth teams from around the world including Yokohama FC, Barcelona, Manchester City and New York Red Bulls, will battle it out to win the prestigious title.</p>
<p>Having the games covered is great for the players, as the film crew add to the occasion at the games. It has also allowed family and friends who could not attend matches to see the players play on the international stage which for many adds to the pride of playing for their country. From a career point of view it gives players an opportunity to perform to a wider audience, which can undoubtedly put them on a platform to impress clubs &amp; coaches beyond their regular audience.</p>

<p>In April we launched Recast Publish, giving publishers complete control over how their content is streamed, shared and monetised on Recast. We are constantly working to enhance the publisher experience on Recast, and we’ll continue to develop and introduce new features next year.</p>

<p>Throughout 2022 we have also made some big changes for fans on Recast. Our platform is now available in 100 countries, catering for multiple languages and currencies. Data Profile’s functionality will continue to develop, with further updates planned for the new year to give fans the option of sharing zero party data with Recast publishers of their choice, providing those publishers with valuable insights into their fan base, and enabling them to reward fans for their loyalty and support.</p>

<p>Among the investors is Simon Bax, former Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Pixar, the digital animation giant behind the Toy Story and Finding Nemo franchises which sold to Disney for US$ 7.4bn in 2006. He joins a host of High Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) including West Indies batsman Chris Gayle, strategic investor Riva Technology and Entertainment &#8211; the gaming, tech and entertainment firm &#8211; Private Equity firm Visor International as well as other Family Offices in a round which sees Recast’s valuation grow to $29 million (£20.9m).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The money raised will principally be used to further develop the Recast platform, currently in BETA in the UK. Recast will also invest in expanding its geographical footprint as the appetite from rights holders indicates significant demand to reach a global audience.&nbsp;</p>
