<p>Edinburgh’s award-winning comedy club, Monkey Barrel, will launch its Recast channel tonight, with an exclusive live stream of Roast Battle &#8211; Edinburgh, the show that turns smack talk into an art form.</p>

<p>Roast Battle &#8211; Edinburgh will see top comedians including Mark Nelson, Marjolein Robertson and Krystal Evans go head-to-head, in a battle of verbal onslaughts. Six pairs of contestants will roast it out over 90 minutes, attempting to defeat their opponent with five ferocious jokes.</p>

<p>Comedy fans at home and abroad can catch the whole show, streaming live from 8.00pm to 9.30pm tonight on <a href="http://recast.tv/MonkeyBarrelComedy">Monkey Barrel Comedy’s Recast channel</a>, for 200 Cast Credits (£2.00).</p>

<p>Today, Inter launched a new original production, ‘Footsteps’ which will closely follow Nerazzurri first team players, providing fans with full access to their personal journey and insight, including the secret to their success in becoming a footballer and wearing the Inter shirt.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The first episode of ‘Footsteps’ which is available now, exclusively on Inter’s Recast channel, features first player Robin Gosens. In the episode, Gosens talks candidly about his childhood, when he started playing football, the ups and downs before breaking through, playing for the German national team, and triumphs in a Nerazzurri shirt.</p>

<p>In this new weekly series, Footsteps will tell the personal stories behind the players of the Nerazzurri first team, as they talk about their careers from the beginning until now, including their most important milestones, their idols and most memorable matches, while also answering many questions about their private and professional lives.</p>

<p>Footsteps is available exclusively on Recast, the platform on which Inter &#8211; the only club in Italy &#8211; joined last August. <p>It’s been an incredible year for Recast. As we look back on 2022, it’s safe to say we’ve come a very long way in terms of the significant growth and development of our platform, as we continue to drive a real, generational change to democratise the distribution of content. </p>
</div>

<p>This year has not been without its challenges. We are a startup, trying to build something exceptional in a very difficult economic climate. The remarkable progress that we have made in 2022 is a testament not only to the strength of our platform, but also to the hard work and dedication of the fantastic team here at Recast, and I would like to thank every single one of them for their resilience and determination.</p>

<p>We have welcomed some fantastic names from the world of sports and entertainment to Recast this year. From footballing giants Manchester City and FC Internazionale Milano, to world renowned DJ Cuppy and leading automotive content creator Seen Through Glass, our roster of publishers (content creators and rights holders) is expanding all the time, as more and more publishers realise the game changing potential of our platform to monetise their content effectively. </p>

<p>In April we launched Recast Publish, giving publishers complete control over how their content is streamed, shared and monetised on Recast. Recast Publish enables publishers to set their own price-per-view, restrict content by geographical location, and easily collaborate with other creators, partners and brands using our unique Smart Contract and incentivised sharing functionality. We are constantly working to enhance the publisher experience on Recast, and we’ll continue to develop and introduce new features next year.</p>
</div>

<p>Throughout 2022 we have also made some big changes for fans on Recast. Our platform is now available in 100 countries, catering for multiple languages and currencies. We are actively challenging outdated subscription and advertising models and earlier this month we introduced Data Profile, a new feature that provides full transparency and rewards users who choose to share their data with our advertisers. Data Profile’s functionality will continue to develop, with further updates planned for the new year to give fans the option of sharing zero party data with Recast publishers of their choice, providing those publishers with valuable insights into their fan base, and enabling them to reward fans for their loyalty and support.</p>

Swindon Town FC launch new ten-part docuseries ‘A New Dawn’, exclusively on Recast

<p>Recast is thrilled to announce the launch of <a href="https://watch.recast.tv/user/8dA1o" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Behind The Glass</a>, a new channel from content creator Sam Fane, who runs Seen Through Glass, one of the leading automotive channels on YouTube, with a global audience of 5,000,000 people per month across various social media platforms.</p>

<p>The Behind The Glass Recast channel will feature an array of new and existing content, giving fans exclusive video access to Sam’s hugely popular ‘Behind the Glass’ podcast, which he hosts alongside used car salesman Tony Gravelwood. The channel will also host the return of the ‘After the Chequered Flag’ F1 series, which Sam co-hosts with Paul Wallace, founder of SuperCars of London. Both series will be shown in video format for the first time on Recast.</p>
