Exciting updates for Publishers on Recast

We’ve launched some exciting updates to Recast Publish, our bespoke content management and data tool, this month.

So what can Publishers expect?

Live Chat 

Live Chat is now available on Recast live streams! Fans can now interact with Publishers in real time and chat with other fans when tuning in.

Channel Trailers 

Channel Trailers are one of the best ways for a Publisher to advertise their channel on Recast and they can now upload a trailer of up to 5 minutes long.  Fans will be able to watch Channel Trailers for free (and even before they sign up) to give them a taste of what they can watch on that Channel, whether it’s a new docu-series, live event or a trailer about the channel itself! 

Publishers can upload up to 5 Channel Trailers at a time and select one that will be highlighted at the top of their channel. Check out our full guide on Channel Trailers here.

Cash Out 

Publishers now have the ability to ‘Cash Out’ their earnings every 30 days, making it easier to get access to the money they’ve generated from their videos.

There’s also an easier way to request a ‘Cash Out’ of channel balances. Publishers will now be able to click a button within their Recast Publish wallet to withdraw their balance and keep track of their ‘Cash Out’ transaction history.

Please note: Publishers account balances must be over £100 in order to cash out via Recast Publish. 

Support for Publishers 

We’ve implemented a new support service for Publishers on Recast Publish, allowing Publishers to get help at any time of the day. If Publishers have a question then all they have to do is click on the chat icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen and start typing - our automated Recast support service will try and answer the question right away. If not, we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
